EuPOP's Core Technology Platform 'SNAP' Secures Up to US$ 9.7 Million in Additional Funding from CEPI
JUNE 5, 2026
Pop Biotechnologies, the co-founder and key technology partner of EuPOP Life Sciences (EuPOP), has secured up to US$ 9.7 million in additional funding from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI). This major follow-up investment will be utilized to advance avian influenza (H5N1) vaccine candidates using the SNAP™ nanoparticle platform and to initiate Phase 1 clinical trials in the United States.
The SNAP (Spontaneous Nanoliposome Antigen Particleization) technology serves as the core platform for EuPOP's premium vaccine pipeline. As global concerns rise over potential pandemics, CEPI’s investment aims to validate the SNAP platform's capability to respond rapidly not only to H5N1 but also to "Disease X"—unknown future pathogen threats. The platform’s ability to bind antigens to liposome nanoparticles within 30 minutes significantly accelerates vaccine development and manufacturing efficiency compared to traditional protein vaccine methods.
This global validation of the SNAP platform by a premier international public health organization provides a powerful momentum for EuPOP's ongoing programs. EuPOP effectively combines this validated SNAP antigen display technology with the proprietary immune enhancement platform 'EuIMT'. This powerful combination drives EuPOP's advanced clinical development for high-value premium vaccines, including Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), shingles, and Alzheimer's disease (AD).
