EuPOP Life Sciences Accelerates Clinical Entry for Next-Generation Dual-Target Alzheimer’s Vaccine
JUNE 19, 2026
EuPOP Life Sciences (EuPOP) is fast-tracking the development of its innovative therapeutic vaccine for Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The company is on track to submit an Investigational New Drug (IND) application for a Phase 1 clinical trial within the third quarter of this year. Aiming to disrupt the premium biopharmaceutical market, EuPOP plans to leverage early clinical safety and immunogenicity data to pursue early-stage global licensing agreements and strategic co-development deals with multinational pharmaceutical companies.
EuPOP's Alzheimer’s vaccine candidate features a cutting-edge "dual-target strategy" that simultaneously targets both beta-amyloid and tau proteins—the two primary biomarkers responsible for the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Developed by combining the proprietary 'SNAP' nanoparticle antigen display platform with advanced immune enhancement technologies, the vaccine has already demonstrated significant immune responses and cognitive improvements during preclinical evaluations.
The technical feasibility of this program has been globally validated, with the underlying research securing approximately US$ 2.5 million in funding from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. Furthermore, EuPOP’s vaccine approach offers major competitive advantages over existing monoclonal antibody treatments by significantly lowering annual treatment costs and drastically improving patient convenience through a reduced injection frequency compared to traditional, time-consuming intravenous infusions.
