EuBiologics Invests Additional $10 Million in EuPOP Life Sciences, Raising Stake to 80%

August 27, 2026

EuBiologics has committed an additional $10 million investment in EuPOP Life Sciences, strengthening its support for the U.S.-based vaccine company and increasing its ownership stake to 80%.

Through the investment, EuBiologics will acquire 8,750 newly issued shares of EuPOP Life Sciences. Following completion of the transaction, EuBiologics will own a total of 15,000 shares, representing an 80% equity interest in the company.

EuPOP Life Sciences was established as a U.S. joint venture between EuBiologics and POP Biotechnologies to advance the development of next-generation vaccines and immunotherapies. The company combines EuBiologics’ EuIMT immune-enhancement platform with POP Biotechnologies’ SNAP nanoparticle antigen-delivery technology to create differentiated vaccine candidates targeting high-value global markets.

POP Biotechnologies has built a strong research track record through collaborations with organizations including the U.S. National Institutes of Health. More recently, the company received up to $9.7 million in clinical development support from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), further supporting the potential of its underlying technology platform.

With the additional investment, EuPOP Life Sciences is expected to further expand its U.S.-based research, clinical development, and global business development activities. The company is advancing a pipeline that includes an Alzheimer’s therapeutic vaccine, for which an investigational new drug application has been submitted for a Phase 1 clinical study, as well as vaccine programs targeting shingles and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

The increased investment also supports EuPOP’s evolution into a broader global development platform for premium vaccines. By building clinical capabilities in the United States, EuPOP aims to create additional opportunities for international partnerships, co-development programs, technology licensing, and future strategic investment.

Over the longer term, EuPOP Life Sciences plans to strengthen its position as a global hub for clinical development and business development, while pursuing partnerships with multinational pharmaceutical companies and exploring additional financing opportunities as its pipeline progresses.

The investment underscores the shared commitment of EuBiologics and EuPOP Life Sciences to accelerating the development and commercialization of innovative vaccine candidates based on the EuIMT and SNAP platforms and expanding their reach in global markets.
